Louisiana man seeks unspecified damages after motorcycle accident

A man is seeking unspecified damages in a court case after a collision four years ago resulted in the amputation of a leg. The motorcycle accident occurred on Louisiana Highway 3017 when the plaintiff's motorcycle was struck by the defendant's vehicle on June 23, 2012. The suit has been filed against the driver of the vehicle, several insurance companies and a medical center.

Louisiana parents awarded $4.4 million in wrongful death suit

Sadly, a Louisiana couple lost two when their 6-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter were killed in a car accident after an SUV struck them while they were fishing. More than two years later, the parents were awarded $4.4 million in a wrongful death lawsuit.

Louisiana woman dead after car accident

A woman from Houma, Louisiana, passed away on Nov. 2, 2016 from the motor vehicle accident injuries she sustained several days prior. She was involved in a car accident on Oct. 30 near Enterprise Drive in Houma. She later died from the injuries she received when she was struck by the car.

Two Louisiana women dead after car accident

Police are investigating the unfortunate circumstances surrounding a wrong-way crash that occurred early on the morning of Oct. 28, 2016. The car accident occurred just east of New Iberia, Louisiana. Both women involved in the collision were declared dead at the scene by an official from the Iberia Parish Coroner's Office.

Trucker negligence blamed for fatal wreck that killed 1

A young man in Louisiana recently lost his life in an accident with a dump truck. Trucker negligence is believed to have caused the multi-vehicle crash that occurred in Zachary on Oct. 21. Criminal charges are expected to be filed in this case.
