Motorcyclist dies in weekend Baton Rouge crash

Motorcycle accidents are among the most dangerous types of accidents there are. Even if a motorcyclist takes every safety precaution -- including wearing a helmet, the right clothing, and following traffic laws -- a crash can throw a motorcyclist from a bike, leaving him or her seriously injured or worse. Unfortunately, that seems to have been what happened in a motorcycle accident this weekend.

Safety tips for Louisiana boaters

During the hot and steamy Louisiana summers, many people like to get out on the water to cool down. Fortunately, they were rescued, and their accident provides a good opportunity to offer some tips about staying safe on your boat.

Anyone in Louisiana who watches the news or reads the local paper knows how often car accidents happen in the Baton Rouge area. Car accidents happen so often that it becomes easy to regard them as a fact of life -- something that is inevitable. Car accidents, however, are not inevitable in all situations. Latest testimony in 2011 crash points finger at drunk driver

Some Baton Rouge residents may be following the case of a woman who was involved in fatal car crash in 2011 that left five people dead. The accident, as some may recall, occurred in Baton Rouge on Interstate 10 after two vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of I-10. One of the vehicles, a pickup truck, then drove over the median and crashed into a vehicle that contained a mother, her three children and a friend. All five died in the tragic car accident.
