Impairment may be a factor in recent car accident in Louisiana

Officials are attempting to determine whether three men suffered fatal injuries in a wreck on Louisiana Highway 182 due to one driver's impairment. Toxicology samples were taken from those involved in order to make that determination, which means it could be some time before the final report regarding the cause of the car accident is issued. Until then, the families who lost loved ones will most likely be busy burying their loved ones.

As the weather gets warmer, more people are heading for the beaches. There are dangers associated with the beach, such as being stung by a jellyfish, being robbed and even cutting a foot on glass that could be in the sand, among other things. What most people do not expect to happen as they sunbathe is being hit by a car. However, that is exactly what happened to a woman recently who was sunbathing on a Louisiana beach when she became involved in a car accident.

If there is any question as to whether there is enough time to safely pull out into traffic, a driver should wait.
